Over the past several years, we have witnessed rapid globalization fuelled by vast advancements in transport and information technology; as well as deepening economic integration through institutional arrangements like free trade agreements that have greatly increased the volume of transactions among countries that work together to expand market access for its mature industries and to explore new growth potential overseas. An influx of goods, services as well as information is exchanged in transactions daily. My current research involves regional impact of industries vis-a-vis market access and how it affects the economic activities of local communities.
