Information networks are formed and utilized by both individuals and firms as they organize economic activities over space. Skilled people go where they can find desirable jobs; while potential employers or industries locate offices where they can easily access information, raw materials and the labor resources they need. The competitiveness of these individuals and businesses depend on their creativity and skills that develop and improve through frequent communication and interaction. I am interested in analyzing the process and mechanisms through which these networks are formed and how they can be utilized to enhance the level of skills and creativity in these multicultural communities.
